Working days & absence days — one export from Shift planning

Added

HR administrators, payroll and accounting, and managers often need one plain figure per person: how many days someone actually worked in the month, and how many days they were absent. A new export on Shift planning now gives you exactly that—one row per employee, two clear columns—so you no longer count it off the plan by hand.

Animated overview: choosing the new Working and absence days export from the Shift planning Export menu, then the resulting Excel with a Working days and an Absence days column per employee.
At a glance: pick the new export, get working days and absence days per employee.

What's new

Before: counting worked and absent days by hand on a month calendar. After: a one-click export with a Working days and an Absence days column per employee.
Before: tally each day by hand · After: two columns, one row per employee

Until now, working out how many days an employee worked—and how many they were away—meant reading it off the shift plan day by day and adding it up yourself. It's slow, and it's easy to miscount, especially when a day has both a shift and an absence.

The new Working & absence days export does the counting for you. For the month you're viewing, it produces an Excel with one row per employee and two figures: Working days and Absence days. It's available to every company—no special setup.

Where you'll see it & how it looks

Shift planning with the Export menu open and the Working and absence days option highlighted, next to the resulting Excel showing Name, ID, Working days and Absence days for several employees.
Open Export on Shift planning, choose Working & absence days, and download the Excel.

On the Shift planning screen, open the Export menu you already use for the other exports. You'll find a new entry, Working & absence days. Choosing it opens the same column picker as the other exports, so you can keep or drop the identity columns (row number, name, ID) before you download. Press save and the Excel downloads for the month and the employees currently in view.

The figures follow simple, predictable rules:

Why it helps

It turns a manual, error-prone tally into a one-click number you can trust—useful for monthly checks, quick reconciliations, and sharing a clear per-person summary with colleagues. Because it respects the filters and the month you already have on screen, and covers only your own company's employees, what you export is exactly what you're looking at.

This is the first version—the columns and layout may be refined after comparing with real monthly data. Field labels follow your product language (English / Bosnian). The export covers the month, filters and employees currently shown on Shift planning.
