Accept general applications — even when no ad fits

Added

Recruiters and HR teams can now receive general applications—candidates who want to join your company but don't see a posting that fits. Your public careers page gets a dedicated “General application” entry, and every such applicant lands in your candidate pool, clearly tagged, ready to find the moment a suitable role opens.

Overview: a General application block on the careers page lets a candidate apply without a posting; the applicant is saved to the pool tagged Free application and found later by HR.

Where you'll see it & how it works

On your careers page: a clear General application entry, right under the open positions

On your company's public careers page—the same page that lists your open positions—there is now a dedicated General application block. A candidate who doesn't find a matching ad can open a short form and submit their basic details and a CV, without picking a posting and without creating an account. The form asks only for the essentials (name, contact, and a CV), so it takes a minute to complete.

The block appears even when the company currently has no open ads—so an interested person always has a way to reach you. Everything else stays familiar: the page keeps your branding and language, and the same anti-spam and daily limits as the regular apply form.

Why it matters for the business

Before and after: without general applications a good candidate with no matching ad is lost; with them the candidate is saved, tagged Free application, and reached by HR when a role opens.
From “no ad fits, so they leave” to “saved in your pool and contacted later”

Good people often reach out between your active campaigns. Until now, if nothing matched, there was no clean way for them to apply—so that interest was simply lost. General applications turn those visitors into candidates in your pool instead of missed opportunities.

Each general applicant is marked “Free application” in the candidate list, and the candidate filter gets a matching “Free applications” option—so when a suitable role opens, HR can pull up everyone who reached out on their own and follow up. Less lost talent, a warmer pipeline, and a careers page that never turns interested people away.

Field labels and the careers page follow your product/company language. Candidates only ever apply to your own company; general applicants appear in your candidate pool alongside those who applied to specific postings.
