Setting up the device yourself

If you've chosen to set up the access control device yourself — here it is, step by step. We also offer this as a service: if you prefer, we'll come on site and set the device up for you.

Mounting the device

The device arrives ready to mount — it is already prepared and configured to connect to the network (LAN) and power, so there's no extra configuration on your side. All that remains is to physically mount it in the spot you choose.

  1. Choose a spot for the device — a wall or a stand of your choice, usually by the entrance where employees will tap a card or enter a PIN.
  2. Mount the device on the chosen wall or place it on a stand.
  3. Connect the device to power and to the network (LAN) — it's already prepared for this before delivery.
